school closed for summer
While we are all off enjoying what is left of the flame broiled, sizzling days of summer, the excitement is starting to boil up a bit as the faculty and staff of CCS are preparing for the thrilling, and soon to be be chilling days of the school year.

To add to the thrills of the school day, our elementary school will once again be starting off the new school year  with a few after school Jr. Cougar Clubs. This year we will see the return of our Jr. Cougar Running Club. Dr. Jeni Watson is (once again:) going to to be our  "head coach."  Dr. Watson is planning to  "practice" on Tuesdays from 2:45-4:00 pm  beginning September 6th.  We will have “our main event” of the season on Tuesday evening, October 25th with our 5K “under the lights.” The first “practice” of our fall running season will take place on Tuesday, September 6th
at 2:45 pm.
On your mark... get set…GO!

way cool science stuff

We will also welcome back to campus “Science Explorers” which will once again be led by our super and sometimes silly “scientist” Mrs. “Crystal” Caley. Science Explorers will meet many Thursdays after school from 2:45 - 4:00 pm. Watch your email for details on how to register as the school year begins! Science Rocks!

Lastly, please be sure save the date for our CCS Back To School Night on Thursday, August 25th. Can’t wait to spend the evening with our CCS families sharing our summer JOYS and kicking off our school year in a “sunsational” and special way!

I’ll be seeing all of you soon (Whoop! Whoop!) but until then may you be taking the time to enJOY all the blessings and gifts the Lord and summertime has to offer!

Thank you for allowing CCS to partner with the Lord and you
to share this part of your child's journey
in growing spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

GO Jr. COUGARS! Whoop! Whoop!
