my heart trusts in Him and I am helped. My heart leaps for
JOY and I will give thanks to Him in song.”

We CELEBRATE the arrival of our new IU Specialist,
Mrs. Megan Carson!
Our new IU specialist,  Mrs. Megan Carson, has been settling into her new home and family here at CCS over the last two weeks. We celebrate her arrival and look forward to how God will use her here. Mrs. Carson will be available with an open door this Tuesday morning, 11/24/15, during conferences from 8:15-11 am. As you are connecting with your child’s teachers, please feel free to stop in, introduce yourself, and welcome her!

A message from Mrs. Carson:

Hi, Families!

My name is Megan Carson, and I am extremely excited to have joined the Conestoga Christian School family from the IU 13 as a Reading/Math Specialist.  I will be at Conestoga Christian every school day in the AM.  If you ever have any questions or need ideas to help your child in Reading and/or Math, please feel free to contact me at megan_carson@iu13.org  I would be glad to help in any way that I can.  I believe by working together as a team, we CAN help your child to reach his/her potential.

CELEBRATE Your Jr. Cougar and their Teacher ;)
Parent/Teacher Conferences are planned for this coming Monday, 11/23, and Tuesday, 11/24.  You should have received an email last Friday, 11/13,  about how to use the new online program “Meet the Teacher” to schedule a conference with your child’s teacher. If you have not already done so, please be sure to take advantage of this special opportunity to connect with your Jr. Cougar’s teachers to celebrate, successes, encourage growth, and support one another in the journey.

CELEBRATE Your Blessings from Above
“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18

Thanksgiving is a special time we spend giving thanks to the Lord for His love, grace, and provision. It is also a time to celebrate with family and friends, eat turkey, have fun, and take a break from the normal routines of school. Our time to do just that is coming. There is no school for students Tuesday, 11/25/15, through Monday, 11/30/15. Students return to school and our countdown to Christmas on Tuesday, 12/1/15.

“Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations
what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted.”
Isaiah 12:4

Thank you for allowing CCS to partner with the Lord and you
to share this part of your child's journey in growing
spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

GO Jr. COUGARS! Whoop! Whoop!
