CCAC MATH BOWL
Nine of our Jr. Cougars in third through fifth grade and nine of our middle schoolers in sixth through eighth grade met the qualifications to participate in the CCAC MATH BOWL which took place on Friday, February 21st at Lancaster County Christian School. Whoop! Whoop!
The competition included written tests, team activities, and a STEM challenge. There was also be a time of prayer and keynote speaker to help focus our hearts and minds on Jesus and encourage the students as they prepare to use their God-given gifts of big brains :) in this unique, challenging, and fun experience! :)
What an amazing and fun day we had with our Jr. Cougars and middle schoolers! They worked hard, met some new friends, faced challenges with courage, grace, and JOY, and most of all shined Jesus in their words and actions. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

Bouncing into Reading!
To add to the learning, fun, and reading JOY this year with the help of our beloved librarian, Mrs. Horst, we will be challenging our Jr. Cougar Cougars to a reading shoot out during our
Jr. Cougar March Madness - Bouncing Into Reading - March 3-14!
-For Jr. Cougars Grades 1-5
-Challenge papers are being sent home with your Jr. Cougars
-Pick and complete a reading task each day
-Color the basketball when you finish each task!
-Have a parent sign the paper, and return it to your teacher by FRIDAY, MARCH 14th for a fun reward!
The top readers in each grade will have a basketball shootout for a chance to win a coupon for a FREE book to be redeemed at the Book Fair!
Jr. Cougar BOOKFAIR
Along with our March Madness reading challenge, our studious librarian, Mrs. Horst has also been hard at work planning our in-person Jr. Cougar Bookfair beginning on Monday, March 17th and running through Friday, March 21st.
-Come visit in the new lower level classroom across from 5th Grade!
-Time slots will be available for students to shop during their library class time
-An evening time for families to shop on Thursday, 3/20 during our Jr. Cougar Art Showcase
-A sign up genius will be sent out for parent volunteers to help during the book fair
-Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted
-Books available for all ages
-Books are supplied by the faith-based company I:55 - Jr. Cougar Bookfair
