You are invited to join us for Grandparents Day! This Friday, May 9, 2025, our campus will open up to welcome grandparents to spend the morning with their Jr. Cougars! 

Here is what Grandparents Day will look like: 

• 8:30a.m. - Registration and Refreshments Begin your day with us in the gymnasium! After registering upon arrival, enjoy a time of refreshments and fellowshipping with other CCS grandparents. *Please do not arrive any earlier than 8:15. We need time to accommodate student arrival prior to the event to be sure we have everything ready for you! 
• 9:00-10:00a.m. - Chapel We will start Grandparents Day festivities with a special Chapel together. Please join us in this time of praise and worship!
• 10:15-11:30a.m. -  Classroom Visits Visit your grandchild(ren)’s classroom to see a glimpse of their academic day at CCS. 
• 11:30-12:00 -  Our Grandparents Day on campus concludes after classroom visits, but your day with your grandchild(ren) doesn’t have to end! If we have a pre-planned absence form* filled out for your grandchild(ren) they are able to leave and spend the rest of the day with you! 
• Parents must fill out and submit a pre-planned absence form to the office prior to the day of our event.

Graduation will be here soon, and we are excited to celebrate our beloved seniors, Class of 2025! Whoop! Whoop!  

Our Jr. Cougar staff with our littles and bigs will be hosting our annual

Senior Graduation Walk 

through our school with the wrap-up happening in our elementary abode on Wednesday, 5/21 at 10:45 am. This will be a time to cheer and applaud our soon-to-be graduates and pray for them before they head off our cozy CCS campus into God's big, beautiful world!

All School Easter Chapel

On Monday, April 14th, from 1:40-2:35 pm in the gym, we will be praise and celebrate Jesus our Savior with a special time of worship, prayer, and scripture reflection during our all-school Easter chapel. All are welcome to attend!

EASTER BREAK

After worshipping Jesus together as a school family, CCS will celebrate Holy Week and Easter Break! There is no school from Tuesday, 4/15, through Monday, 4/21. School resumes for the final weeks until summer break on Tuesday, 4/22.

Before we reach the finish line of this school year, we will be running laps in our annual Race for Education! Please join us to cheer on your Jrs. and Cougars while they run and leap with JOY on Thursday, May 1st at 1 pm on our playing fields.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

With the permission of Mr. Parris, CCS will be hosting an autism fundraiser for Reading Phillies tickets that Mrs. Juile Dale and her family, which includes Gavin in fourth grade and Brayden in first grade are participating in for a second year in a row. All the details are above in the logo, including the QR code for ordering tickets.

Other important information to note:

• The fundraiser is for the month of April and will end on April 30th
• Tickets can be purchased online or directly through Julie Dale for single tickets as well. Her email can be included. jdale@spotterstaffing.com
• There are 6 tickets in a package and are good for general admission tickets to any game
